C's Lookin' for Some Home Cookin'

The Boston Celtics' road woes have sent the defending champions to their worst slump since the franchise's resurrection, but they're hoping a home game can help solve their problems.

The Houston Rockets, meanwhile, will need to find a different solution.

The two contenders will both stumble into Wednesday's matchup at the TD Banknorth Garden, with the Rockets looking to avoid a sixth straight road loss and Boston seeking to dodge its first three-game slide of the season.

Champions for Children

Kendrick Perkins shows off the Larry O'Brien trophy at the annual Champions for Children's fundraiser on Tuesday, December 2 at the Seaport World Trade Center.

Champions for Children's is an annual dinner and auction that raises funds for Children's Hospital Boston's patient care, research and community health programs. Hosted by ESPN's Chris Berman and WEEI's Glenn Ordway, Champions for Children's is Boston's only charity event supported by all five professional sports teams.
